Wendle's Bistro is more than just our on-site eatery - it’s a heartfelt tribute to the woman whose vision, strength and spirit helped shape this place. From model to politician to trailblazing timber broker in a man’s world, Di has always broken the mould. It was in the timber trade that she earned her nickname “Wendle” and later, she and her beloved husband Bernie ran their own successful restaurant of the same name.
